A rising star in the operatic world, Isabelle has quickly established herself as a versatile and captivating performer. With a rich and expressive voice, she brings depth and nuance to every role she undertakes.
She is currently touring with English Touring Opera, singing Fiametta in The Gondoliers and she will be returning to ETO in the autumn to sing Belinda in Dido and Aeneas.
Her recent highlights include covering and performing Adina in ETO’s The Elixir of Love, and co-creating the role of Alex in Little Terror, a Learning & Participation production for Learning Disabled audiences.
In the previous summer season she performed Ida (Die Fledermaus) for The Grange Festival – with whom she’s previously covered Anne Truelove and Despina. She played Ariadne in the world premiere of Ciphers by Greg Arrowsmith at the Tête à Tête Opera Festival, and has worked with opera companies such as Grange Park Opera, Winterbourne Opera, and Hurn Court Opera – debuting as Musetta in La Boheme.
With a strong academic foundation, Isabelle holds an MA with Distinction from the Royal Academy of Music and a BMus from the Royal College of Music. Her talent has been recognized with numerous awards including the Josephine Baker Trust, Royal Academy of Music DipRAM for outstanding performance, Abigail Dodds Memorial Prize, Mendelssohn Foundation Boise Scholarship, Royal College of Music Undergraduate English Song Prize, and Rotary Young Musician Singer of the Year.
Isabelle’s concert repertoire spans from Bach to Orff, with performances at venues like Wigmore Hall and Cadogan Hall. Beyond music, Isabelle is a passionate ballet dancer, knitter, and frequently can be found climbing the bouldering walls of London.
